It's mostly agreed upon that art or skill is 1% talent and hard work is 99%. You always need that 1% for initial motivation and the anecdote of my introduction to art is an example of that. When I was in high school, my friend showed me a bunch of graffiti art from all over the globe, and I was astonished by the flow of color and shapes of those artworks. I remember thinking: "Man, I wish I could draw like that". Then I went home and tried to redraw the things I saw on those artworks, and I did a fairly good job. That was my 1% of talent and my motivation going forward, and things you can see below are mostly 99% hard work. In conclusion, hard work is something you can always improve upon and I'm always trying to push myself to the next level.
